Beautiful and pristine, Northwest Colorado's sparkling rivers and streams provide critical habitat for native plants and animals, excellent rafting and recreation, and clean water for uses from agriculture to drinking water for local and regional populations. The future of the Little Snake Resource Area's (LSRA) rivers is currently at stake: the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) recently released their draft Resource Management Plan (RMP) for the area. Because the plan will determine how BLM lands in Northwest Colorado will be managed for the next 15-20 years, it is critical that we act now to ensure our precious waterways receive appropriate protection. Read more...
