Cottonwood Reforestation at Brown’s Park
Fall Work Days
October 22nd & 23rd
CEC, The Wilderness Society and Friends of Northwest are working with the US Fish and Wildlife Service at Browns Park National Wildlife Refuge to restore Cottonwood forests along the Green River. We meet in Steamboat or Craig then travel to the Refuge. At the Refuge we spend time learning about the area, the project and the staff. Then we work to transplant trees and install protective fencing. All volunteers are welcome! This is a GREAT family event and ALL ages and abilities are welcome. Registration is required for this event. For more information and to RSVP, contact Sasha at sasha@cecenviro.org or by calling (970)-824-5241
